Il client vSpere per collegarsi in remot a un server, attraverso un firewall, ha bisogno delle seguenti porte:

 

 

  • TCP 443 Porta di default del vCenter Server system usata per comunicare con vSphere Client e data transfer. La porta TCP 80 viene rediretta su  443
  • TCP-UDP 902 Porta di default del vCenter Server system per spedire dati agli host gestiti. Heartbeat spedito su UDP port 902 al vCenter Server system
  • TCP 902/903 Usata dal vSphere Client per mostrare le console delle virtual machine
