Durante il processo della scoperta, la Wireless LAN Controller (WLC) e il Lightweight Access Point (LAP) “giocano a nascondino”. Se non si dice a LAP dove sta WLC è non si sa dove sta WLC  in rete. Per trovare un WLC il LAP invia le richieste scoperte al controllore tramite algoritmi scoperti:

    * Opzione DHCP 43
    * DNS
    * Layer 3 broadcast
    * OTAP
    * Static

come ripristinare le confiigurazioni di default
